This Privacy Policy explains how Bytewise Solutions Ltd (trading as SwingDialed) ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from swingdialed.com (the "Site"). The information we collect

  • Payment information. Card payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store full card details ourselves.
  • Order history, including the products you buy, order value and delivery information.
  • Account information, if you create an account, such as your login details and saved preferences.
  • Technical and usage data, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and how you use the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications, such as messages you send us by email or through the Site, and any reviews or feedback you provide.

How we use your information and our legal bases

We use your personal information for the following purposes and on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

  • To fulfil your order (process payment, arrange delivery, provide customer service and handle returns). Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
  • To manage your account and respond to your enquiries. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or our legitimate interests in running our business.
  • To improve and secure the Site, prevent fraud, and keep our Services working. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
  • To send marketing about our products, where you have asked to hear from us. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.
  • To meet legal and tax obligations, such as keeping records for HMRC. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to make it work, remember your basket, understand how the Site is used, and (where you agree) support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where shown, through our cookie banner. Turning off some cookies may affect how the Site works.

Who we share your information with

We share personal information only as needed to run our store, including with:

  • Payment providers, to process your payments securely.
  • Delivery and fulfilment partners, to dispatch and deliver your order.
  • Email, analytics and marketing providers, to send communications you have agreed to and to understand how the Site is used.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Some of our providers, including Shopify, may process your information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, to keep your information protected to UK standards.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, including to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Order and tax records are generally kept for at least six years to comply with UK law. When we no longer need your information, we securely delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing in certain circumstances;
