10x10ft Heavy-Duty Golf Practice Net
Your own driving range at home
Groove full swings in the garden with this large, heavy-duty golf practice net. At 10x10ft it gives you a big target and high-impact netting that stands up to driver swings, so you can practise every club without leaving home or paying for a bucket of range balls.

Why 10x10ft is the right size for a garden
Smaller nets punish mishits. A thin shot that comes off low and left of centre needs somewhere to go, and a 7ft net simply does not give you that margin. At 10x10ft you get enough width and height to catch the shots you were not trying to hit, which is most of the point of practising in the first place.
Leave around 3m between you and the net. Closer than that and the ball rebounds quickly. Further back and you lose some of the effective catching area.
A net and mat together
Treat the net and the mat as one purchase. Hitting off your lawn will leave divots and dead patches within a fortnight, and hitting off a hard path is a fast route to sore wrists. A hitting mat gives you a consistent surface all year, works in the wet, and lets you use adjustable rubber tees for driver practice.
Add foam balls if your garden is tight or you have neighbours close by, and a pop-up chipping net if you want to work on wedges in the same session.

What size golf net do I need?
A 10x10ft net gives a generous margin for full swings and mishits, so it is ideal for garden practice.
Can you hit a driver into a practice net?
Yes. This net is built for high-impact shots, including driver, as long as you leave around 3m of distance.
Will a golf net damage my garden?
The net will not, but hitting off grass will. Use a hitting mat and your lawn stays intact.
Can I leave the net outside?
Take it down in high winds and store it dry where you can. The netting handles British weather well, but the frame lasts longer if it is not left up all winter.
