Hit full shots at home, safely

This indoor golf net catches your shots, including the odd shank, thanks to wide side extensions and a sturdy build with a stabilising sandbag. Set it up in a garage, a spare room or the garden and groove your full swing whatever the weather is doing outside.

  • Wide shank net side extensions for safety
  • Sandbag base for stability on any surface
  • Works indoors or in the garden
  • Pairs with a hitting mat and foam or real balls

How much space do you need?

For irons you want roughly 3m of ceiling height and about 4m of depth, which covers most single garages. Stand far enough back that the ball is travelling downwards into the net rather than straight at the top edge. If your ceiling is lower than 2.5m, stick to wedges and half swings, or use foam balls.

The side extensions matter more indoors than anywhere else. A shank in a garage has nowhere safe to go, and a standard net without extensions leaves a gap exactly where that shot heads.

Put a mat underneath it

A net on its own is half a setup. Hitting off concrete will hurt your wrists within a session, and hitting off grass will wreck your lawn. A proper hitting mat gives you a consistent surface, protects your joints and lets you use adjustable rubber tees for driver work.

Are golf hitting nets safe to use at home?

Yes, when set up with enough space and a mat. The side extensions on this net catch mishits, including shanks.

Can I use real golf balls with a net?

Yes, with a quality net and enough distance. Use foam balls in tighter spaces for extra peace of mind.

Can you use a golf net in a garage?

Yes, provided you have about 3m of ceiling height for full iron swings. Lower ceilings still work well for wedges and short game practice.

Will hitting into a net improve my game?

It builds a repeatable swing and clean contact, which is most of ball striking. Pair net sessions with short game practice so you keep feel as well as technique.
